The ladies kicked off the Flexi 7 West League with a hard-fought battle against Killamarsh. The match was intense from start to finish, with Killamarsh taking an early lead through a fast counter-attack. However, A. Davies brought the Arrows level at 1-1, showcasing her brilliant form. We had a great chance to take the lead when a Killamarsh player handled the ball in the box. B. Falconer bravely stepped up to take the penalty, but was unlucky to be denied by their goalkeeper. In the second half, the Arrows created multiple chances but were unable to find that final breakthrough. Killamarsh pressed throughout the half, and despite our strong defensive efforts, they managed to score in the final minutes of the match, securing all three points. A. Davies was outstanding and deservedly earned Player of the Match, recognized by both teams. Well done to all the ladies for a tremendous effort! We brush this off and focus on the next challenge—our next game is just 6 days away against Millmoor. Keep pushing, Arrows!

A very strong and impressive win for the ladies, netting quickfire goals in the first few minutes. The ladies finishing the half 8-1 up, the second half saw more goals and a solid back line. some beautiful football and fantastic team work saw more goals for the arrows in the second half finishing the match in double figures.

The arrows started off very strongly again in the first half scoring a handful of goals very quickly. The team showed what it keeps to be a great team, communication, skill, teamwork and high intensity all of the pitch. goals scored from all areas of the pitch the match ended 8-4. A very close match for the ladies and a good competitive game, lots of very good individual duals all over the pitch. The match could of gone either way, however a first defeat for the Arrows with the match ended 2-1 to Killamarsh. A special mention to our manager/player who last minute had to replace our goalkeeper and did an amazing job even picking up player of the match, Well done Claire aka Gaffer.
